A Wild Life

Rebecca grew up on a National Wildlife Refuge free from the constraints of city streets and sidewalks, and without buildings to interrupt her view of the horizon. She built tree forts with her siblings, hopped across rocks along the lake shore; and learned to appreciate the solitude of long distance running while training for high school sports on gravel roads where she saw more deer and pheasants than cars.

As a lifelong learner and athlete, Rebecca’s exploration of movement is another way she feeds her curiosity. In turn, she encourages her clients to be curious about their abilities and to re-think self-imposed limitations.

Today Rebecca lives in a truck camper, which fulfills her otherwise conflicting desires for home and adventure, as well as for routine and exploration. She is happiest when her limbs are tired, her feet dirty and her hair a mess.
